Dwayne and Vin Diesel got into a spat over this film getting announced. Then, “Fast & Furious 9” got pushed back to next summer (after a franchise-best “The Fate of the Furious”).
This is the movie I blame for bumping the actual movie I was looking forward to, so Dwayne can get yet another posturing role where he can play himself, again.
Then the trailer for “Hobbs and Shaw” looked so generic and derivative, and stupid! I can’t imagine how it can successfully launch a spin-off franchise. It looks awful, sounds awful…
