Another one? I swear this book has been remade as many times as Jane Eyre! Even as a young girl, I had trouble getting interested in the book or the movies. They never clicked with me. (While other girls were reading Little Women, I was begging my mom or grandmother to get the adult section of the library to give me permission to borrow Dracula, Uncle Tom’s Cabin or Wuthering Heights. LOL Yeah, I was an “old soul” even as a kid). I hope it will be a faithful adaptation and not “woke,” but I likely won’t bother.
