Support the Project here: https://streamlabs.com/odinsmovieblog/tip
Hello to all! This is where I will keep updated lists of the films/tv that have been safely backed up to the server and any other pertinent information or updates about the project! Anything listed as in progress means that I own the media but have not yet digitized it. Thanks to all who have supported this endeavor! To make a recommendation of something you do not yet see fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/5k54Zmo7E1dvUPuh6
*UPDATE*: I am still willing to take requests but do ask that they be limited to out of print films and TV shows (or ones that soon will be). Many recommendations have been titles that are still readily available. Thanks for your support and God bless!

Hi Odin,
I have been trying to build up my physical media. Do you have any recommendations about where to go to find classic TV shows that won’t break the bank?? And thanks for the presevation project it is coming along great so far!!
Howdy and thanks! So far amazon has had some pretty good deals..depends on what you are looking for really. Used dvd/bluray stores can also be a solid option
Thank you for the advice. I ended up visiting a comic book store that sold dvd’s (my first time in a comic book store) I found the first ten seasons of South Park for a great price and Casablanca for a $1.00. I now gave a good start to my collection. You are the man Odin!! 🙂
To bad you only allow one film at a time. I could give you so many suggestions.
You can submit multiple times. The point is to slow the influx and hopefully get explanations as to why something should be considered.
Synology is a good NAS. It uses btrfs internally, which was known to have issues with RAID-5, so stick to RAID-1 (mirror), as you have started. Add disks by pairs, that mirror each other.
I have it set to the internal SHR…based on what I have seen it should work fine
Nice to see this coming together
Indeed!
