  1. Five stars! This film was an extremely solid conclusion to the HTTYD series. Great animation, character development, and story. Did not disappoint in the least bit!

  2. This was a good entry into a good series and a good way to bring the story to a close. The other dragon riders were a little more neglected in this film than the previous entries but what there was for them was handled very well. The animation was beautiful and the limited new dragon designs were great. The villain of the film was a great counterpoint to Hiccup. I just wish the final confrontation with him lived up to the previous encounters with him.

  3. I liked this film. I didn’t know how the star system worked, so I think I ended up giving it 2 stars, not my actual thought.

However, while not happy that that the makers of How to Train Your Dragon, for not continuing the series I believe it ended well. I am a father of two, and have seen these films with my kids since the films first came out.

Yes I have a sentiment bias. How could I not. I loved seeing Toothless finally finding a partner. I loved how all the characters had some kind of fitting end. What I loved more was watching my kids reactions. Not a proper cretic, I know but great memories nonetheless.

    4 Stars.

  4. I saw the first movie with my son in the theater when he was ten. We have watched all the IP since. He is now 20.
We saw it as a family. What a great way to end such a wonderful series of movies. I would have loved more of The Twins and other dragon riders, but the villain was done nicely. Great job. Thanks for the memories.

  5. Saw this movie instead of Alita only because of stupid reserve seating thing Cinemark has implemented and I enjoyed it just as much as one and two. Had some touching moments and the villian was capable and smart. I give it a 5 star rating.
