Never read the book but watched the original version of the movie. Went to go see this remake and while I enjoyed it I just didn’t feel it did enough to separate itself from the original. They had obvious setups to make you remember a scene from the original just to let it pass like it was a “Fooled you!” kind of moment. I did enjoy learning more about the lore behind the burial ground and wish they would have went deeper and further in that direction.
Let’s hope that it is good. I do have high expectations.
I loved the original, I have high hopes, but this is a remake, and…well…its a remake.
